Boating conditions along the Alabama coast will remain somewhat choppy through much of the week, with 2-foot seas and west to southwest winds generally around 10–15 knots. Monday afternoon could bring gusts up to 20 knots.
A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day, especially from Tuesday through Friday. Winds and seas will be higher in and near thunderstorms, so boaters should keep an eye on the latest weather before heading out.
Conditions gradually improve late in the week, with winds easing to 5–10 knots and seas falling to 1 foot or less by Friday.
