The latest tropical update brings some good news for anyone watching the Atlantic.
The National Hurricane Center is no longer expecting AL-94 to develop as it moves across the central tropical Atlantic. The tropical wave is now located roughly halfway between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles and is producing only a limited area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
The system is moving into an environment that is becoming less favorable for development, and the National Hurricane Center now gives AL94 a 0% chance of development over the next 48 hours and through the next 7 days.
